Our concrete flatwork
Real workmanship from sub-base to final cure and seal. Because what's underneath matters just as much as the finish.
Poured, still in the forms
The lumber locks the risers in perfectly square. When the forms come off, the finish speaks for itself. No movement, just solid flatwork.

One sidewalk, two days
We don't cut corners on timing. A proper commercial-grade sidewalk takes two days: day one for sub-base and steel, day two for the pour.
December pours
The ground is freezing, and the boom pump barely reaches. But construction in Calgary doesn't wait for May.
Cosmos Collision
We poured the facility expansion and new in-ground car lift slabs for this luxury auto repair shop. High-end cars require absolute precision on the flatwork.
Tear outs: Old slab leaves first
Before a new driveway goes in, the old one has to come out cleanly.
Mission
Tested by a full Calgary winter.
L.A. Projects pours concrete flatwork for Calgary homes and builders. We build surfaces you can park on, walk on, and count on to survive the freeze-thaw cycles without shifting or pooling.
- Built from the ground up. We take the unglamorous parts seriously. A proper base, steel, slope, and cure are what keep a driveway from heaving. Beautiful finishes are great, but they are never a substitute for solid work underneath.
- Dedicated crews. Prep and finish are different skills. We run two dedicated forming crews to lock the lumber in perfectly square, and three dedicated finishing crews to deliver a flawless final surface.
- Done right the first time. Homeowners get a finish they are proud to look at every morning. Builders get flatwork that hits grade, matches the plan, and does not come back as a deficiency.
- Local materials. We use quality local supplies. Our cement comes from Amrize Exshaw in the Bow Valley. Our tools and sealants come from Unicon right here in Alberta, and our concrete colours come from Interstar.
From gravel to hand-off
How a pour goes

Form
Our dedicated prep crews set the grade, compact the gravel base, and lock the lumber in perfectly square.

Rebar
We tie a solid steel grid to give the slab the structural strength it needs to survive the winter.

Place
We place the concrete quickly and efficiently exactly where it needs to be.

Finish
Our specialized finishing crews step in to deliver a flawless surface — whether it is broom-finished, stamped, or exposed aggregate.

Turnover
The forms come off, we clean the site, and hand over a slab that is ready for decades of heavy use.
